CARPENTER:
Our construction company is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in all aspects of residential construction, so we need a Carpenter with experience who loves thinking outside the box and wowing clients. Attention to detail is a must. Our company prides itself on exceptional finish work and doing jobs the right way - no shortcuts. The ideal candidate will have their own truck and tools and be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius. Most work is on-site. For the right applicant, we will consider a promotion to Lead Carpenter/Foreman. We offer performance-based advancement and bonuses. 5+ years of construction experience.
Knowledge/proficiency with tooling and machinery.
Capable of climbing ladders and lifting at least 80lbs.
Ability to read construction drawings.
Critical thinking and time management skills needed to complete tasks in the most efficient manner while still meeting code requirements.
Attention to detail a must.
Experience with electrical, plumbing, and masonry a plus.
Ability to work on your own and take instructions.
Ability to create material lists.
Knowledge of IRC code.
Work ethic and pride in workmanship.
Must have own transportation & some tooling.
Demonstrate safe job-site practices.
Laborer:
We are looking for an efficient, safety-minded Laborer for our residential construction company. We have long-term work (and possibly summer work) available for the right candidate in a variety of
positions. Applicants should have residential construction industry experience and access to reliable transportation. Special skills, such as concrete finishing and carpentry, are a plus. We offer a
consistent work schedule and competitive pay. The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, they should be familiar
with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security. Advancement opportunities available to the right candidate.
1+ year construction experience.
Basic understanding of construction procedures and principles.
Comfort working through all seasons.
Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints.
Lift heavy loads (70+lbs) and navigate job-site terrain.
Dig/back fill pits, trenches, and foundations.
Identify utility lines.
Perform setup and cleanup tasks on job-site.
Make lunch runs if needed.
Provide labor support as needed by carpenters.
Perform general maintenance of tools and equipment.
